O I repeat is the special customs regime for the export and import of goods intended for research and exploration activities in oil and natural gas deposits, understanding how: i) research or exploration: the set of operations or activities, including drilling, designed to assess areas, aiming at the discovery and identification of oil or natural gas deposits; and mining or production: the set of coordinated operations for extracting oil or natural gas from a deposit and preparing for its movement.
O I repeat applies to the following goods: vessels intended for research and production activities of oil or natural gas deposits and those intended for support and storage in said activities; machines, gadgets, instruments, tools and equipment for research and production activities in oil or natural gas deposits; oil or natural gas drilling and production platforms, as well as those intended to support these activities.; motor vehicles mounted with machines, gadgets, instruments, tools and equipment for research and production activities in oil or natural gas deposits; e, v) structures specially designed to support platforms. These goods are commonly called by professionals in the MAIN GOODS area.
The regime may be applied, yet, the machines, gadgets, instruments, tools,
equipment and other parts or pieces, including spare parts, destinated to: ensure
operability of goods admitted to the I repeat; rescue, accident prevention and fire fighting and environmental protection. These goods are commonly called by professionals in the area of ACCESSORY or SECONDARY GOODS.
